Linda Chandler, 66, of Turlock passed away on Saturday, August 13 at Emanuel Medical Center. She was born in Langdale, AL to Almond Alford and Millie Edgmon in 1945. She was raised in Langdale, AL and Turlock, graduating at Turlock High School in 1963. Linda lived most of her adult life in San Jose and moved back to Turlock ten years ago. She enjoyed helping feed the seniors in San Jose at the Evergreen Community Center. As a survivor of cancer, she walked several years at the Turlock Relay for Life. Not only raising her own children, she raises one brother and one sister and many others. Family was her life.
Linda is survived by her children Sean Chandler and Stacy Chandler Graves; siblings Larry Alford, Angie Clevenger, Danny Edgmon and Judy Caldwell and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Jeff Chandler and one brother.
Arrangements are entrust to Allen Mortuary. A visitation will be at Allen Mortuary on Friday, August 19 from 4:00 p.m to 6:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, August 20 at 10:00 am with burial following at Turlock Memorial Park.
