Elsie Bertha (Pisa) Keith of Columbus, Kansas passed away at the age of 87 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.

She was born Alica Bertha Pisa to Fred and Agnes Pisa in Hanover, Ks. Her parents immigrated to America in 1909 from the Czech Republic. At an early age she became the caretaker for her ailing mother and father.

She married Vernon D. Keith in March of 1950. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1978. She has been a local care provider in the Columbus area for many years. Mrs. Keith enjoyed her family, baking, gardening and country music.

Surviving are her children:
Margaret "Maggie" Mooney of Columbus, Ks.
Mary Hill of Columbus, Ks.
Sharon Shanks of Liberty, Texas
Joyce Edwards of Kansas City, Mo.
Delbert Keith of rural Oswego, Ks.

Seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A sister, Mary Hawthorne of Colorado Springs, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Merle and Edwin Pisa.
