Echo Alicia Gilmore Wilson, 88, of OKC, died June 13, 2010. Born October 29, 1921 in OKC to L.A. & Echo Gilmore. Echo graduated from Central HS. She traveled extensively, both in the US and abroad. Her love of animals led her to study and become a docent at the OKC Zoo. She has been a volunteer at the Library Sorting Site for 15 years and the 45th Infantry Division Museum for 30 years. Preceded in death by her mother & father; brothers, Albert & Ralph; sister-in-law, Melba; nephews, Edwin and Robert; niece, Charlene; and great-niece, Carlene Echo Lundy. Echo is survived by a loving and caring friend and companion of 14 years, James Maker; 3 great-nephews, 9 great-great- nieces and nephews, 8 great-great-great- nieces and nephews and many friends throughout her life. At Echo 's request, no services will be held.
