Alfred Glover Benton , 75, of the 900 block of McKinley Ave., died Oct. 11, 1996.
He was a native of South Norfolk and had retired from Burton Lumber Company as a cabinetmaker.
He is survived by two sisters, Mary B. Johnston and Dorothy B. McLendon, both of Chesapeake; and two brothers, Isaac H. Benton Jr. and William J. Benton , both of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. Gregory Hensley. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
