DAUDELIN Mary "Ann" Mary "Ann" Daudelin, age 79, of Toledo, went to see her Lord and Savior and her waiting family on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Lakes of Monclova. Ann was born on March 9, 1934, in Toledo. She went to St. Thomas Grade School and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1952. Ann received her Bachelor's degree in Education from Mary Manse College. She continued her education earning a Master's Degree from The University of Toledo in Education. Ann taught in the Toledo Public Schools System for well over 30 years. She was also a substitute teacher, after her retirement for Larchmont and Blessed Sacrament grade schools. During her summer break, Ann worked at various places throughout the years including the Toledo Swim Club and Brondes Ford Swim Club. She worked part-time at The Toledo Blade for well over 30 years. She loved to travel with her family all over the country as well. She enjoyed vacations to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and especially loved vacationing in Emerald Isle, NC. Ann and her family enjoyed traveling out west and seeing many of the national parks along the way. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin J. Daudelin; parents, Joseph and Gertrude (Barror) Mauter; brothers, Paul, Francis, John, and Joseph Mauter; sisters, Kate High, Marcella Connell, Pat Cervenec, and Rita Horne. Ann is survived by her loving daughter, Eileen (Jim) Mitchell of Whitehouse; loving sons, David Of Ottawa Lake, MI, Robert (Nicole) of Temperance and Nick (Sue) of Toledo; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013, at 12 noon at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; 4227 Bellevue Rd. with the Rev. Fr. Marty Connell, Celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Church. The family wishes to thank all of the Angels that cared for their mother including those at Glendale Assisted Living, Lakes of Monclova, and Hospice of Northwest Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
