On October 28, 1972 she married Michael Wagner at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Newtonburg. Shirley was employed with the Mirro Aluminum Company, retiring after 38 years. She enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, traveling, especially to South Dakota. Shirley loved country music and attending country music festivals. She looked forward to her eighth grade confirmation class reunions every year. Shirley also had a passion for animals.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years: Michael, Newton; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Elaine Karstaedt, Manitowoc, Judy and Donald Karstaedt, Newton; one sister-in-law: Joan Waack, Manitowoc; three brothers-in-law: David (Linda) Wagner, Maribel, Timmie (Mary) Wagner, Howards Grove, Steven Wagner, Two Rivers and one sister-in-law: Virginia (Douglas) Buchholz, Cleveland. Shirley is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Shirley was also preceded in death by one brother: Milton Waack, one brother-in-law: Clinton Karstaedt, one nephew: Eric Wagner and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Kurt and Lorenda Wagner.
Funeral Services will be held at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Newtonburg. with burial to follow at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church Cemetery.
