Pamela Kay Reese Walker, 70, passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013. The family will have a private service. Memorials: Contributions may be made to Children's Medical Center of Dallas or the American Cancer Society . Pamela was born in Fort Worth to Elbert Reese and Juanita Smith Reese. She was a lifelong resident of east Fort Worth and graduated from Eastern Hills High School in 1961 and from Texas Christian University in 1965. She taught in the Fort Worth ISD from 1965 to 2008 and was Teacher of the Year in 2008. Pamela was an avid artist and taught art, health and P.E. She produced and directed the Forrest Oak Follies while teaching at F.O. Middle School. She owned A Peach of a Place, an art store on Handley Drive where she taught art classes. Pamela was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Elizabeth Walker; sister, Gail Reese Nabors; and parents. Survivors: Nieces, Jill Weiler and Jan Galbraith; four great-nephews; and many friends.
