Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Jane Mericle
Esperance- Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Galen White funeral home in Delanson for Mrs. Jane Mericle, 86, of Esperance, who died Sept. 11 at Cobleskill following a long illness. Rev. Bristol Chatterton of the Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
Mrs. Mericle was born March 24, 1866, daughter of Alexander and Mary Anderson Widdes. Her husband, Henry Mericle, died 10 years ago.
A resident of the Esperance area most of her life, Mrs. Mericle was a member of the Pochontas, and the Methodist Church.
