Genevieve (Belz) Przybylski, 90, passed away at her St. Joseph, MO home on Sunday, April 8, 2007 in the presence of her family. She was born June 20, 1916 in St. Joseph, and married Laudy Przybylski in September 1936. She was a department manager at Paris Clothing for 15 years and helped her husband manage Redstone Lumber Company until their retirement in 1976. She was a long-time organist at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and led her five-piece polka band through many wedding and anniversary celebrations. Since her retirement she has doted on her nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and avidly supported various charitable causes through her enthusiasm for bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband Laudy in 1977; parents Felix and Casemir Belz; granddaughter Lindy Przybylski; brothers Tony and Steve Belz; and sister Mary Borkowski. She will be deeply missed by her survivors: daughter Mary Ann and her husband Ron Hughes of the home; son Walt Przybylski and his wife Connie; son Tom Przybylski and wife Helen; grandson Chris Hughes and his wife Kristin; grandson Paul Przybylski and his wife Tracy and their children Carter, Caitlin and Lauren; granddaughter Julie Leibman and her husband Adam and their daughter Alaina; grandson Jim Hughes and his wife Linda and their children Stella and Cal; grandson David Przybylski and wife Mieke and their children Anna Marie and Michael; granddaughter Laura Devereux and her husband Matt; grandson Dann Przybylski and his fiancee Elizabeth Evans and granddaughter Katie Przybylski. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. James Catholic Church. The interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. The Parish Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
