George Herman Beaman obituary:

Funeral Services Held Tuesday for Herman Beaman

Funeral services for George Herman Beaman, a lifelong resident of the Nokomis community, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Davis Funeral Home. The Rev. LeRoy Bula, Methodist minister, officiated. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery north of Nokomis
Mr. Beaman passed away in St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, December 20, having been admitted to the hospital only a few days before his death. He was aged 80 years, 11 months and 16 days.
The deceased, who was a retired farmer, was born in Greenwood Township on January 4, 1873, the son of the late W. R. Beaman and his wife, Mary J. Landers Beaman. He was never married and lived alone in his residence at 306 N. Pine Street.
His surviving relatives are four sisters, Mrs. Laura Livergood, Bethany; Mrs. Estella Lewellen, Elkhart, Indiana, Mrs. Sina Schaefer and Mrs. Evelyn Randles, both of Nokomis and one brother, W. G. Beaman, also of Nokomis. One sister and two brothers preceded him in death.
