Charleston - Mrs. Gussie Ree Williams, 86 years old, of Charleston died Wednesday at the Missouri Delta Community Hospital in Sikeston.
She was born June 28, 1894, in Lebanon Junction, Ky., the daughter of W. C. and Sarah Lloyd Stallings.
On Dec. 12, 1912, she married Omar Slack, who died in January of 1917. In March of 1918, she married Clarence Williams. He died in May of 1951.
She had resided in Mississippi County most of her life. She was a member of the Charleston First Baptist Church.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Lewis Evans; sisters, Mrs. Stella Shortz and Mrs. C. C. Sutherlin; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Seven brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home here with burial in the IOOF Cemetery here.
