Mary E. Jeanes of Plano, Texas passed away December 3, 2013 at the age of 76. She was born March 11, 1937 to Walter Lee Boyanton and Mary Erla (Herring) Boyanton in Memphis, Tennessee. Mary married Walter Franklin Jeanes on August 30, 1957 in Denton, Texas. She was a nurse for Dallas County in the late fifties. Mary was a full time homemaker prior to returning to nursing for Plano ISD from 1989-1999. She is survived by her sons, Darryl Jeanes and wife, Nancy of Canton, Texas, Kevin Jeanes and wife JaKayla of Amarillo, Texas, and David Jeanes and wife Cindy of Plano, Texas; daughter, Lori Cronan and husband Wayne of Wylie, Texas; grandchildren, Shelbi, Brandon and Audrey Jeanes, Haley and Blake Jeanes, Ryan Jeanes, and Ethan Cronan; brothers, John Boyanton and wife Margaret of Atlanta, Georgia and Charles Boyanton and wife Zana also of Atlanta, Georgia; and sister-in-law, Marie Boyanton of Lebanon, Tennessee. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Franklin Jeanes; sister, Dolly Lester, and brothers, Gene Boyanton and Walter Boyanton, Jr. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2013 at First Baptist Church, 1300 East 15th Street, Plano, Texas 75074 with Dr. Jerry Carlisle officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
