Khloey Duane Estelle Allen, age 3, of 43 Oakridge Drive, Aragon, was carried by the Angels to Heaven on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.
Khloey was born in Rome, Georgia on April 17, 2010, daughter of Robert Bradley Allen and Arwen Eleanor Green Allen.
Khloey is survived by her parents; 3 sisters, Presley Allen, Riley Allen, and Aubrey Allen; and by a large extended family and community of friends and loved ones.
Arwen and Brad Allen of Aragon, parents of Khloey Allen, sent out the following announcement.
"Our world has grown darker, but the heavens shine brighter. Our precious Khloey got her wings on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013.
"As parents we were able to fulfill our promise. She was at home with her sisters and her mommy and daddy. It was swift and peaceful. Please pray for our family and for the days that lay ahead. Khloey touched so many lives by ‘shining a little love' wherever she went.
"She came home for about two weeks and spent time with family over Thanksgiving. She got sick last Friday night."
Khloey was diagnosed with a rare form of Pearson Marrow Pancreatic Syndrome, a terminal disorder, in April 2011. Since that time, she captured the hearts of many people who were inspired by her story.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel on Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. At other hours, they may be contacted at the residence, 48 Oakridge Drive, Aragon.
A celebration of Khloey's life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at the funeral home's South Chapel in Lindale. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell.
