ASHTABULA — Lewis B. "Butch" Antolak, age 67, N. Spruce St., Jefferson, Ohio, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 4, 1946, in Akron, Ohio, the son of Peter P. and Betty L. (Hadlock) Antolak and has been a life long Jefferson resident.
Lew was a Jefferson Area High School graduate and earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Kent State University. He was formerly employed with Glastic Corp.
He enjoyed watching football, horses and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by several cousins, Pam Shirk of Willoughby, Litany Zin-Shirk of Columbus, Jason Sturz of Bradenton, Fla., Jamie Petry and family of North Kingsville, Jeffery Petrey and family of Jefferson and John Robar and family of North Kingsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Michelle Antolak; and cousins, Barbara (Hoplight) Shirk, Gladys (Sturz) Shirk and Stephen Robar.
Graveside Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 6th, at Oakdale Cemetery, North Market St., Jefferson, with Alisa Nierzejewski, certified celebrant leading the service.
