MIDDLETOWN, Md. - Clifford Elwood "Chick" Haupt, 88, of 9412 Frostown Road, died Tuesday, June 1, 1999, at Frederick (Md.) Memorial Hospital.
Born March 20, 1911, in Frostown, Md., he was the son of the late Ezra and Esta Palmer Haupt.
He was a retired farmer and mason.
He is survived by:
his wife, June Gilbert Haupt;
a son, Michael E. Haupt of Middletown;
a stepson, Ronald E. Toms of Frederick;
five stepgrandchildren; and
great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. The Rev. Tracy E. Wiser will officiate. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Myersville.
Friends may call any time today at the funeral home.
The family received friends Tuesday, June 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
