MISS LENZ SUCCUMBS IN HOSPITAL HERE
Well Known Religious Worker Dies This Morning
Miss Elizabeth Lenz for many years secretary of the National Catholic Woman's Union, died early this morning at a local hospital after an illness of about a year.
Miss Lenz was born in Green Bay July 29, 1858, in the old Hagemeister home, located on the present site of the Northland Hotel. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lenz. The greater part of her life was spent in teaching school at New London, Wausau and Kewaskum and in the interest of welfare problems.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alois Freund of Wisconsin Rapids and Mrs. J.L. Deuster of Green Bay and two brothers, Charles Lenz of Green Bay and Leonard of Milwaukee.
The body is at the home of J. L. Deuster, 700 Crooks St. funeral services have not been arranged.
