PAUL FRANKLIN GORDINIER.
Our community was saddened by the sudden passing of Paul Franklin Gordinier from a heart attack. He was found by a neighbor, Miss Georgia Richardson, lying in the kitchen floor with his hat in his hand at 3:30 o'clock Tuesday, February 23. His wife had gone to a neighbor's for a few minutes while he laid down to rest.
His brother, Earl Gordinier, came the next day after his brother's death. Two other brothers and their wives came for the funeral, and were: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gordinier, Mr. and Mrs. "Si" Gordinier, also Mrs. Verda Gordinier, of Monmouth, Iowa. She remained for a longer stay. Others from a distance were: Mrs. Grace Hall and daughter, Mrs. Pauline Serburg, and Mrs. Julia Vaden, of Edina, and Mrs. Ralph Hayden, of Burlington, Iowa, and others. A very large crowd attended the funeral services.
