Frances was born July 15, 1895 in Festina, Winnesheik County, Iowa and was the daughter of George Kipp and Gertrude Neinhaus Kipp. She first married Sammie McElree and they had five daughters. On September 27, 1966, she married Albert Tetzner at the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Bernadine Gertrude Fechhelm of Marshfield, Wisconsin, Mrs. Vivian Carl of Long Island, New York, Mrs. Gladys Olson of Atkins, Mrs. Goldie Peterson of Newhall and Mrs. Doris Katherine Glasgow of 1004 South Street; two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Finnegan of New Hampton, Annie Reese of Creston, Minnesota; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
