Funeral services for Margie Lee Armendariz, age 73, of Tyler will be 2 p.m. Friday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with entombment in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Armendariz was born on May 12, 1940, in Hackleburg, Ala., to Domer and Lizzie Jane Gentry Scott and passed away on Dec. 8, 2013, in Tyler.
Formerly of Alabama, Mrs. Armendariz had lived in Tyler many years, was member of New Life Baptist Church and a representative of March of Dimes for Southland Corp.
Survivors include daughters, Tammy Tarrant, of Tyler, Pammy Mire and husband Mike, of San Antonio; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, L.D. Scott and Leburn Scott; sister, Verdell Hudson; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Armendariz was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Rush. .
