Mildred Jackson, 88, of 2400 30th St., died of a heart ailment Sunday at Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines. The body was cremated and memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at New Hope United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Private burial of the cremains will be at Resthaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson, a retired homemaker, was born in East Leavenworth, Mo., and lived most of her life in Des Moines.

Surviving are two daughters, Minnie Bruce of Des Moines and Joy Beck of West Des Moines; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
