Records come up for him in Bristol, MA and Bristol, RI.
Both are correct, at this time, Bristol was part of MA.
Benjamin Cary, son of Deacon Benjamin Cary, born Bristol R.I. 1706, per Cary family book. I want to note that this is in conflict with his father's will. Allen is noted as being his "eldest son". Benjamin is mentioned second. Allen was born in 1708.
Please see attached record. There is a Benjamin passing on Oct 7,1753, although this is not him, as he is mentioned in his mother's will and she passed in 1764.
Married Thankful Taylor, of Plymouth, Dec 26, 1733. He purchased real estate in Providence R.I. and resided there, the house in which he lived being known as the " Old Deacon Cary House". He died in old age universally esteemed for his purity of character and life.
He and Thankful had 9 children:
John B: 1734
Joseph B: 1736
Thomas B 1741
