Mrs. Henry Bushman died after a few days illness at her home southeast of this city (Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.), Sunday, Sept. 1st, 1918, at 5:45 p.m. The deceased was born at Steintahl, Manitowoc Co., May 6, 1867, where she lived with her parents, Adam and Anna Schnell, until she was united in marriage to Mr. Henry Bushman from School-Hill, Wis.., May 21, 1889. They made their home in Manitowoc Co. until 1911 when they moved to this vicinity where the family still resides. Besides her husband she leaves ten children to mourn her loss, namely, Mrs. Isadore K. Mayer, John, Alvin, Anna, Katherine, Elizabeth, Joseph, Olive, Hildagard and Cecilia Bushman. She also leaves four grandchildren, two sisters and five brothers. Those that attended the funeral from out of town were, Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Mayer and family, and Misses Katherine and Olive Bushman from Hollywood, California, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bushman and son Henry from School Hill, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Anton Schnell and daughter, Ellinore, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schnell from Steintahl, Wis., Mr. Henry Schnell of Kiel, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Adam Schnell and daughter, Margaret, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Paukratz, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scharenbrock and Miss Margaret Cook, Mr. and Mrs. William Zeimer and son, Edward, of Marshfield, Mrs. John Woelfel, Mrs. Gust, Woelfel, Mrs. Constand Heiman, and Mrs. Fred Woelfel, from Chilton, Wis., Mrs. Joseph Christel and daughters, Omilda, from St. Nantianz, Wis., Andrew Bushman from Manitowoc, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Bushman from Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Gries from Dorchester, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. George Fecker and son, John, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goshow and children from Colby.
The funeral was held Friday from the Catholic Church and interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community in this their time of sorrow.
