Dale passed away Monday evening, December 9, 2013 at Bronson LakeView Hospital, Paw Paw.
He was born December 2, 1923 in Kalamazoo, the son of the late Lowell and Gladys (Loomis) Conolly.
Dale was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater on destroyers. He was a devoted member of Almena United Methodist Church, a member of the American Legion, McGowan-Johnson Post #68, Paw Paw and the Almena Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
Dale passion was playing golf and enjoyed fishing and rooting for the Detroit Tigers.
On Dec. 28, 1946 in Kalamazoo, Dale was united in marriage to Betty J. Cole who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Diane (James) Ross of Paw Paw; two sons, Mark (Mary) Conolly of Lawton and Kim (Vickie) Conolly of Kalamazoo; 13 grandchildren; 1 6 great grandchildren; two brother: Norman (Joan) Conolly of Paw Paw, and Gordon (Sally) Conolly of Kalamazoo; many nieces and nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Conolly; four brothers; James, Russell, Lawrence, and Roger Conolly.
Family will receive friends Friday (12/13), 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Almena United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. following the visitation.
Interment will follow in Almena Cemetery.
