Orlan A. Conger, 66, died of injuries received in a fall August 9th, at Lutheran hospital in Fort Dodge Friday night.

Mr. Conger, a boiler maker for the C. and N.W., suffered a broken pelvis in an eight foot fall from an engine undergoing repair in the round house and had been in the hospital since that time.

He is survived by his wife and two sisters, Mrs. Mae Worley of Exline, Iowa, and Mrs. Myrtle Lyons of Chico, Calif.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Wilson's Chapel in charge of Rev. Stickler of the Baptist church. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Orlan Conger who lived in Eagle Grove died in a Fort Dodge hospital Sept. 29, 1950. There is left to mourn his wife, Anna, and his twin sisters, Mrs. Mae Worley of Exline, Ia., and Mrs. Myrtle Lyons of Chico, Calif., also several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Orlan was in good health until hurt while at work in the C&NW shops on the 9th of August. He had been a hospital patient since that time. He was a kind and loving husband, and always made friends. He was baptized and united with the church in Exline, Ia. in 1906. He lived a faithful christian life and loved to read his bible. His nurse and he had prayer together at the time of his passing. Orlan said he knew his Lord, and was not afraid to die, and passed away praising his Blessed Saviour with words of prayer.

Funeral services were held at the Wilson Chapel Tuesday afternoon Oct. 3rd, in charge of the Rev. Stickler of the Baptist church. Rev. Lloyd Meyer had charge of the music and was accompanied by Mrs. Meyer. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.
