Albert Best..a World famous medium, was born in Belfast Northern Ireland. Best's mother died, when he was very young and he was brought up by his grandmother, also named Mrs Best.
Best started work at just 14 years old at a rope factory, finding the repetitive work boring. One of his sisters moved to Scotland, to the town of Irving. Albert, decided to go and visit her..and stayed for sometime. Best liked the Scottish Countryside, the mountains and winding roads.
