LaVeda J. Stafford, 91, of Salina, died Monday, July 29, 2013. She was born Dec. 15, 1921, in Bazine, the daughter of Solomon and Mary (Stieben) Moore. LaVeda was a farm homemaker and worked as a seamstress for the LaCrosse Furniture Factory.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Herman Andres; second husband, Edward Stafford; two sons, Edward Jr. and Franklin; one daughter, Delores Stepp; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include one son, Merlyn Anders and companion Sharon Smith, of New Cambria; three daughters, Marcile and Louis Luetters, of Ransom, Karen Ward and companion Ernesto Gonzales, of Amarillo, Texas, and Annette and Boyd Waite, of Salina; 13 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Ryan Mortuary. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in LaCrosse Cemetery
