He was a member of the College Club of Seattle, Seattle Chamber of Commerce and the Norwegian Commercial Club. During his youth he conducted a mandolin orchestra in Madison, WI.

Funeral services for Hjalmar O. Anderson, 66 years, will be held in the Bonney-Watson Chapel at 3 o'clock tomorrow. Mr. Anderson, a life-insurance salesman, died Saturday at his home, 1721 35th Ave.

A native of Madison, Wis., he was a member of the Transportation Club.

Surviving are his widow, Kathryne B. Anderson; a son, Maj. Herbert H. Anderson, United State Army, now stationed at Fort Miles, Del.; two daughters, Mrs. Carletta Rockholtz and Mrs. Kathleen Price, both of Seattle; a brother, George K. Anderson, Hollywood, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Carletta Vedel, Copenhagen, Denmark.
