Millie May Adamson
1942 ~ 2005
Our dear loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Millie May Adamson, age 63, passed away peacefully at home on October 20, 2005 in Magna, Utah. She was born January 15, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Cloda May and Walter Douglas Hitesman. She married Leo Gordon Adamson in 1978. He preceded her in death in 1988 after a wonderful life together. Millie enjoyed volunteering at many different functions throughout her life. She spent lots of hours and time on arts and crafts and loved making quilts for all six boys and her extended families. She was an active member of the LDS Church. In her later years she has enjoyed being a part of the Lake Ridge 11th Ward Relief Society and volunteering at the temple. Millie is survived by her six wonderful sons, Jerry (Nicole) Hitesman, Leonard (Wendy) Hemsley, Don Hemsley, Tracy (Jennie) Hemsley, Scott (Krystal) Hemsley, Joe (Laura) Hemsley; brothers Dale (Mary), Don (Pauline), True and Nyle Hitesman and step-sister Roseann (Tito) Gonzales, 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Nell Fenton, brother Howard Linza, and her loving husband "Gordie". We would like to thank all her many close and special friends that she enjoyed spending time with.
