Benson is survived by his wife, Nellie of the home; two daughters, Oretta Chipponeri of Modesto, CA and Ruby Sherlyn Wagner of Tulsa; one step-daugher, Colleen Perry of Bishop of Dixon, CA; one son Donald Lee Benson of Tulsa; one step son, Arlie Dixon of California; five sisters, Virginia Carlton of Sallisaw, Wanda Gordon of Oklahoma City, Evelyn Moseley of Lexington, Darlene Baker of Tulsa and Shirley Smith of Baton Rouge, LA; three brothers, Lee Benson and Roland Benson, both of Tulsa and Ervin Benson of Stigler, 19 grand children and 21 great grandchildren.
