Mary J. Baraglia, 102, of Berlin, beloved wife of the late John J. Baraglia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 11, 2011 at Rocky Hill Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was predeceased by her children, John Jr., Victor and her loving daughter Joan Tomasi. Mary leaves behind her daughter Constance and her husband, Raymond Ziegler, Sr., of Kensington, and her son Ronald Baraglia and his wife Jean, of Decatur, Alabama. She also leaves behind her cherished twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren who she treasured and a niece and nephew.

Mary "Ma" had a great love for family and will be missed dearly. We will especially miss her holiday parties, beautiful smile and words of wisdom.

The Baraglia family extends a special thank you to the staff at the Rocky Hill Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for their kind and loving care.

A private funeral will be held from the Paul A. Shaker / Farmingdale Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, Ct. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Ann Church, New Britain. Burial will be private in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours. One of Joe Tinty's younger siblings and the last of the clan. She had a "religious store" across the street from Saint Mary's School. She always spoke of her days at Landers. And as a child I remember picking her up from work with my grandfather from Cardinal Control in Kensington. Definitely part of the Greatest Generation. Her best advice "Spend one, put two in the bank
