Mary Margaret Gaither Sheets , 79, died Dec 7, 1995 at Community, Hospital in Anderson.
She was born on Oct. 22, 1916, in Wabash, IN, she was the daughter of Grover and Blanche (Allen)Gaither. She was married April 29, 1955, to John W. Sheets. He survives.
A lifelong resident of the Alexandria-Anderson area, she had worked at National Gypsum Corp.in Alexandria, She retired in 1974 from Delco-Remy in Anderson, after 35 years of employment.
she was also a member of the Alexandria Church of the Nazarene and Auto Workers 662.
Others surviving are a brother George W. Gaither of Alexandria, several nieces and nephews and cousins. She will be sorely missed.
Services were held at 1:00p.m. Monday at Alexandria Church of the Nazarene, Pastor Kevin Dunlop officiating. Burial was at Park View Cemetery.
Friends may call at Owens Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home or at noon ay the church, Monday.
