REUBEN BOYD GOODGION, 76, Rt.5, Box 890, died Sunday, 3 Dec 1989, in a Duncan hospital.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Northside Church of Christ with Leonard Keele officiating. Burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens will be under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. The family will meet at 904 Hillcrest.
Mr. Goodgion was born 14 Mar 1913 in Bowie, Texas. A veteran of the US Army, he was a retired salesman for Ron Stephens Services in Lawton and a member of the Northside Church of Christ. He married Bea P. Moler on 19 Aug 1935 in Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Russell B. Goodgion of Wichita Falls; three daughters, Vicki Malone of Duncan, Peggy J. Winton of Comanche and Glynda G. Lucas of Edmond; three brothers, Leroy Goodgion of Benson, Arizona, John Goodgion, Jr. of Tulsa and Bill Goodgion of Oklahoma City; a sister, Lola Harris of Benson; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be A. J. Ryder, Harold Clary, Bruce Ridley, Bill Ridley, Raymond Riley, Eddie Fausett, Tommy Renfrow and Raymond Cerney.
