Joe liked fishing, hot dogs, cars. He was a very mellow fellow who everyone enjoyed. Joe was named for his Uncle and his Father. He was the eldest of his Webb generation and was greatly loved by all his family.
Joe is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons: Brian (his wife, Dana) Webb, Nick (his wife, Emily) Webb; He also is survived by four grandchildren: A.J. Webb, Natalie Webb, Coley Webb and Carter Webb, all of Gadsden, Alabama. He is also survived by a brother, and Michael Leon Webb of Joplin, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers,Donald Lee Webb of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Jimmy Dan Webb and Oral Russell 'Rusty' Webb; He was also preceded in death by his Grandparents, George and Nona Stone, along with Frank and Audrey Webb
Joe proudly served in the 25th Infantry Division of the United States Army. He was a Vietnam era veteran.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 18, from noon to 1 p.m. with the funeral at 1 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla. Pastor Eric Reaves will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Pallbearers will be Cam Whorton, Bob Short, Danny Patterson, Mike Wofford, Bob Morrow and Bucky Powers. Honorary pallbearer will be Keith Ford.
The family will have a private graveside service.
