Joe Forest, was the youngest of FIVE children born to John Alexander & Alta Dinah GIBBS Head. Joe's mother died when he was abt. 6 months old.

Occupation: machinist. Joe married Laura ' Venus' GODWIN 16, May 1922 & they made their home in Tonkawa, Kay County, Oklahoma. TWO children were born to this union.

*NOTE: There must have been a REGNIER FAMILY in Tonkawa, OK. that took Joe Forest HEAD into their home, after the death of Joe's mother. (Joseph H REGNIER, "Foster Father of Joe Head"; inscription on stone. Please see FAG#31164685.) This monument is located next to the JOE & VENUS HEAD monument. Written by S. Martin
