Upon graduation from Magnolia High School, Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, she began a career with McAllister Oil Company in Magnolia. After several years with McAllister she worked many years in the Administration Building at Southern State College, prior to it becoming Southern Arkansas University. She was a member of Jackson Street Methodist Church prior to it becoming Asbury United Methodist Church.
Sara loved following the Razorback Basketball team, as well as Mulerider basketball and volleyball teams. She loved her cats and all animals, and faithfully supported CCAPS of Columbia County. Sara was known for her quiet spirit and quick wit that all family and friends enjoyed.
