Born Dec. 2, 1888, at Eagle Lake, Ill., he was a son of the late August and Louise Albers, and on Dec. 2, 1916, he married Frieda Schwalenberg in the Town of Rantoul.
The couple farmed in the Town of Rantoul and Collins area until Mrs. Albers’ death in 1940. He was employed by the Midwest Creamery, Manitowoc, until retiring in 1955.
He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Collins.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Adolph Schwalenberg of Chilton.
Three sisters and seven brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Collins, the Rev. Robert Wendland, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, after 6 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday and at the church from noon until the hour of services.
