AUGUST DRAEGER

August Dreger(sic), 89, of Rockland, lifelong resident and farmer of Manitowoc County, died Saturday morning at his home in Rockland.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at Collins. Rev. Victor Weyland will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was born February 23, 1865, in Rockland and married Ida Krumm on October 29, 1895, who preceded him in death 15 years ago. Mr. Dreger, who was a trustee of the St. Peter Evangelical Church for 12 years, retired from farm work 15 years ago and the farm was taken over by his son, Gerhardt, who survives him.

Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Otto Born of Cleveland, Mrs. Ferdinand Matznick of Brillion, Mrs. Ida Klusmeyer of Manitowoc, Mrs. Hilbert Schultz of Two Rivers; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Reedsville Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Monday until 10 a.m. Tuesday when the casket will be moved to the church.
