Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 1994, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Collins. Rev. Arnold E. Ruddat will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He was born April 13, 1934, at Oconomowoc, Wis., son of Edward F. and Ella Ferber Meyer. He attended Oconomowoc schools and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. He was previously employed by the Milwaukee Public School System, Recreation Division for 30 years and currently was employed at High Cliff State Park. He married Beverly Voigt on August 25, 1962, at Valders. He was a member of the Administrators and Supervisors Council of the Milwaukee School System, a member of the Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association and the Collins Lions Club. He was a veteran of the Army, serving from 1954 to 1956.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly; one son, Edward T., Minneapolis, Minn.; five daughters and two sons-in-law, June, Minneapolis, Minn., Kaye and Andrew Heup, Grafton, Carolyn and Robert Krez, Milwaukee, Margaret, Collins, Elizabeth, Milwaukee; his mother Ella Meyer, Okauchee; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Suki, Midlothian, Va.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Fern Meyer, Okauchee, Dawn and Richard Haney, Brown Deer; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild. He is further survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Oliver and Ione Voigt, Manitowoc, Richard and Gloria Smith, Manitowoc, Victor and Christine Voigt, rural Reedsville; other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father and one infant sister, Ellen.
Friends may call at St. Peter's Church on Thursday, October 6, 1994, from noon until the time of service.
