Mrs. Bernard (Bertha) Reinke, age 86, 610 Lincoln Ave., Brillion, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, December 28, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.

Born January 18, 1896, Town of Rockland, Manitowoc County, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Hulda Mahnke Krepline. She married Bernard Reinke on December 22, 1914, in St. Peter Lutheran Church, Collins, Wisconsin. They celebrated their golden anniversary in 1964. He preceded her in death in 1970. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Alfred Reinke of Appleton, Freddie and Mary Ann, R. 4, Chilton; Mrs. Josephine Sebo, Valders; Mrs. Arlene Pingel, Valders, Elsie and Alex Knier, Reedsville; Mrs. Alice Sebo, R. 2, Reedsville; Lucinda and Wilmer Loose, Chilton; Mrs. Clarabelle Brandes, Brillion; Delores and Marvin Price, R. 4, Chilton; a friend, Ethel Wenninger, Appleton; 47 grandchildren; 97 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and two step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Raymond; three sisters, four brothers; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and four sons-in-law.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Fridsay at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Collins, with Rev. Kenneth Edenhuser officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Reedsville Funeral Home handled the funeral arrangements.
