Helen Agnes Mason, 83, formerly of 40 West Side Ave., Hagerstown, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at Avalon Manor Nursing Home.

Born April 19, 1915, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late William Logan and Agnes Conner Mowen.

Her husband, William Russell Mason, died in 1972.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

She is survived by:
two sons,
Kenneth L. Mason of Hagerstown and
Edwin R. Mason of Winchester, Va.;
two sisters,
Edna Pryor of Hagerstown, and
Jane Neikirk of Savannah, Ga.;
one grandson;
one great-grandson.

Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

There will be no viewing.
