He married Verna Cox July 14, 1956, at Fairbury. She survives.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Mr. Stonecypher was educated in Fairbury schools and was employed at Fashion/Bilt Shoe Co., Pontiac Chair Factory and at Smith Lumberyard, all in Pontiac.
He was a Baptist.
