Rick was born in Jacksonville, Fla, on April 18, 1959, the second of three children. He graduated from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, where he was president of the senior class of 1977. He later graduated from North Texas State University, class of 1982, with a BS degree in information systems, and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity.
Most recently, he was employed as director of information systems for the city of Coppell. Rick enjoyed time with family , barbecuing, hunting, and travel and especially ball games, whether on TV or in the stands at a game.
Survivors : Children, Michael R. and Rachel M. Moore and their mother, Linda, all of Grapevine; parents, Burt and Marylou Moore of Fort Worth ; sisters,Vicki and Wendy ; several nieces; and numerous other relatives.
