NORMAN — Dale Warren Burton, 91, departed this life on May 29, 2013, in Norman. Mr. Burton was born to William and Nola Burton on Nov. 26, 1921, in Ringling.

Mr. Burton attended school at Ringling. He and Anna Gothard were united in marriage on May 26, 1941, in Ardmore. He had made his home in the Little Axe area for over 45 years moving from Oklahoma City. He was employed with the Townley Dairy Company as a milk processing operator until his retirement. He enjoyed bowling, bingo and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anna; one son, Jerry Burton; one brother, W.B. Burton; and one sister, Jewel Wade.

Those who survive him include one son, Don Burton and his wife Linda of Texas; daughter-in-law, Birda Burton of Norman; three grandchildren, Kathryn Young, Melissa OBrien and Kristin Moseley; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at McMahans Funeral Chapel. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Monday. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
