The funeral of Chester B. Nash, a Southern Pacific conductor who died Monday after a brief illness at the Southern Pacific hospital, San Francisco, was held today from James Taylor's funeral parlors, Sixteenth and Jefferson streets. Alcatraz Lodge No. 244 of Masons, conducted the services. Oakland Commandery No. 11 Knights Templar, of which Nash was a member, acted as escort. Nash was a native of Illinois, 36 years old. His home was at 1017 Peralta street. He left a widow, Mrs. Nellie Nash, and a son Chester Bell Nash.
