Funeral services for Harley Ethridge, 78, of Brownwood will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home in Goldthwaite, with Richard Ivy officiating. Burial will follow in Duren Cemetery in Mills County.
He died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, in Brownwood.
He was born Oct. 3, 1935, in Mullin, to Earl B. Ethridge and Beatrice Epley Ethridge. He was married to Geneva Estelle Brown in 1955. He was a member of the National Guard. He worked as a superintendent.
Survivors include his children, Harley Ethridge of Follett, Genetha Chastain of Brownwood, Shannon Rhodes of Allen and Marcella Davis of Abilene; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Ethridge; sister, Betty Farmer of Goldthwaite; and several nieces and nephews.
