DIED IN HOSPITAL.
Body of Benjamin G. Hines
Brought to Tipton for Burial

Funeral services for Benjamin G. Hines, 40 years of age, whose death occurred at the Linton hospital Saturday night at 9 p. m. will he held at the East Union
church Tuesday morning at 10:30, Rev. George D. Poster officiating
and burial will be in the East Union cemetery.
Mr. Hines, whose home is at 115 Green street in this city, was superintendent of the Kempton canning plant and was a man who had many friends in this city and at Kempton where he was well known. He was born near Bloomfield, a son of Mr.
and Mrs. L. C. Hines of that community and he was married, to a young woman of that community 16 years ago. The wife has been dead for a number of years but he is survived by two children by the marriage, a daughter Guila, 15 and a son John Calvin, 13.
He i s also survived by the parents, two sisters, Mrs. G. E. Cook of Indianapolis and Mrs. Mary Suits of Detroit and a brother Charles Hines of Stockland, Ill.
Mr. Hines was taken ill with appendicitis several weeks ago and was taken to the parents home at Bloomfield, from which he was taken to the hospital at Linton where an operation was performed. Peritonitis developed following the operation and this caused the death. Notice was sent to this city and the Leatherman ambulance went after the body which was brought to this city and prepared for burial.
