He attended public schools in Topeka and graduated from Highland Park High School.
He attended the school of broadcasting and was a disc jockey on the radio who was known as " Soul Dad ".
He was preceded in death by his father, George Sr. in 1985.
His mother, Lucile passed on after him in 1995.
He is survived by three brothers, Paul E. Green, Robert L. Green and Harold D. Green and three sisters, Bulah M. Green- Hines, Carolyn L. Green and Tina L. Green, a host of loving cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.
He is loved and missed very much.
