BLOOMER - On Tuesday morning, January 15, 1889, at her residence in Washington, D C, Mrs Caroline Bloomer, daughter of the late Jas S Craft, aged 53 years.
Funeral services from Samson's chapel, Sixth avenue, on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment private at Allegheny cemetery.

Condensed From the Issue of Jan 17, 1888 [sic]
Mrs Caroline Bloomer of "Tuscawilla" or the Preston place, South of Lewisburg, which she left to her son, George, died at her Washington home on the 15th in her 54th year. She was a kindly, liberal-hearted woman of large means and was well liked by the people here. To her liberality the Episcopalians owe their Church and manse in Lewisburg.
