Linda Jane Abdulla, 61, of Kissimmee, FL, formerly of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Born November 18, 1952 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Balford and Emma Jane (Garrison) Turpin. With her husband, Linda was the owner/operator of AWK Engineers in Pittsburgh, PA, for over 30 years. Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading and contributing to charities around the world.
Survivors include her husband, Errol Abdulla of Pittsburgh, PA, two daughters, Larrin Wampler (Bill) of Bloomington, Cathy Jo Abdulla (Carl) of Pittsburgh, two sons, Timothy Turpin (Kacy) of Bloomington, James Abdulla (Domonique) of Kissimmee, FL, seven grandchildren, Casey, Emelie, Christopher, Ethan, Nolan, Corie and Jordan, two great-grandchildren, Khloe and Sophia, three sisters, Mary Quick, Judy Baugh and Pam Pedro all of Bloomington, two brothers, Tom Turpin of Bedford and Mike Turpin of Gosport, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Brenda Mullis, Gloria Turpin and Jacqueline Kerr Collins.
Visitation will be 2-6pm Sunday, December 15, 2013 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN 47401. Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Larry Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Knightridge Cemetery.
