OLD TOWN, Sept. 27--Albert Allen Blaney, 79, wellknown as a lumberman, died suddenly Saturday at his home on Bennock road, Stillwater, of a heart attack.
Mr. Blaney was born in Millville, N. B., July 19, 1874 the son of Graham and Sarah (Hood) Blaney. He had resided at Stillwater for 37 years, coming here from Millville. For many years he was associated in the lumber business with Asa Cunningham of Stillwater and also with the Jordan Lumber company of Old Town for a number of years. He attended the Stillwater Federated church.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Alrado Blaney of Stillwater; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Clay of Lincoln; Mrs. Idella Rogers, Dover-Foxcroft and a son Kenneth G. Blaney of Cornish; two sisters, Mrs. Asa Cunningham of Stillwater and Mrs. Charles Blanchard of Presque Isle; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Remains were returned to his late home on Bennock road, from Craig's funeral home, where friends may call.
Funeral services will be held at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. The Rev. Ernest C. Flood of the Methodist church will officiate.
